How to Make A Cleaning Routine!

Alright, let's dive into the world of cleaning routines – the unsung heroes of keeping our lives together! Trust me, I get it. Winging it every time? That's a one-way ticket to Overwhelm City. Today, let's chat about why having a cleaning routine is as essential as that morning cup of coffee.

First things first, you gotta know yourself. We're all different, right? Some folks are meticulous cleaners, others... not so much. Me? I'm on the ADHD side of the spectrum, so my cleaning style is more of a dance – a bit of feng shui mixed in.

Now, size matters. I'm talking about your living space, of course! Identify those spots that see the most action – usually the kitchen and bathroom. For me, the kitchen is a daily battleground. Dishes? Wash 'em every day. Surfaces? Wipe 'em down. Trust me, a clean kitchen is like a sanctuary you can't live without.

Pro tip for the kitchen: Save the heavy-duty stuff, like backsplashes and appliance exteriors, for when they're screaming for attention – about twice a week works for me, but you do you.

Now, bathrooms. I've got two approaches here. Sometimes, it's the big weekly clean – sink, mirror, toilet, shower, the whole shebang. Other times, it's a bit of a bathroom tango. One day, sink and mirror. Next day, toilet. Another day, the shower gets some love. Oh, and a shower squeegee? Lifesaver. Wipe those walls down daily, and deep cleaning becomes a breeze.

Floors? Sweeping hard surfaces is practically a daily ritual, especially with furry friends around. And carpets? Vacuum time every day or every other day. It's like a dust-be-gone party.

Now, don't let cleaning be the boss of you. Spread tasks out, catch your breath. Feeling overwhelmed? Just tackle one thing that day. And when all else fails, don't hesitate to call in the pros – cleaning services are like the superheroes of reset buttons.

At the end of the day, it's about knowing yourself. You don't need to out-clean the cleanest person on the block. Find your comfort zone, create a space that vibes with you, and remember, it's okay to ask for a little help when you need it.

Oh, and if you're on the lookout for a cleaner near you or into the whole green cleaning scene in SLC, it's worth checking out local services that match your style. Happy cleaning, my friend!

P.S. I've gone ahead and made a printable checklist that you can use to make your very own routine!
